Oakleaf and bdht continue their successful working relationship
Oakleaf Grounds Services have successfully retained the grounds maintenance contract to provide estate services for Bromsgrove District Housing Trust (bdht). The new contract is for an initial period of five years, with the potential to extend it a further five years. The award of the contract reinforces what has been an excellent relationship between the two organisations who, with The Community Housing Group (TCHG), have worked together for approximately 12 years.
Keith Burgess, Executive Business Manager for Oakleaf, said: “It’s wonderful that we have been able to retain the contract with bdht. It’s a positive step for all concerned including tenants and the operatives working on the estates. We have been able to achieve an almost seamless transfer into the new contract term and introduce some new working methods to deliver a high quality service and value for money to bdht.”
Marie Henry, Director of Neighbourhoods and Community for bdht said: “Having well maintained environment and grounds landscape is important for the upkeep of the estates and the wellbeing of our tenants. We are pleased that Oakleaf were successful and we look forward to continue our partnership in the years ahead. Tenant feedback over the years have been very positive and we look forward to maintaining this trend in the future.”
